- Richard was merely 5 when he discovered his inner performer.
- His main childhood idols were Flip Wilson, Tom Jones, and Get Smart’s Don Adams and he would mimic them for several hours a day.
- He began his career with commercials in 1976 at the age of 10, leading to other commercial appearances and several jobs of hand modeling.
