Professional Career

Steiner trained under Dr. Jerry Graham Jr. at Torio’s Health Club in Toledo, Ohio and debuted under his real name in the Indianapolis-based World Wrestling Association in 1986. In 1988, he joined the Memphis-based Continental Wrestling Association under his real name. Steiner joined WCW together with his brother, in WCW, he debuted the name, Scott Steiner.

Here, they were managed by Missy Hyatt and often brought their pitbull, Arnold to the ring. In 1990, he started wrestling singles matches, especially after his brother was injured. In 1992, after a contractual issue with WCW Executive Vice President, Bill Watts, the Steiners left.

The Steiners joined WWF in 1992 and made their television debut on the episode of the 21^st of December 1992. They had a short feud with Money Inc. (Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) with whom they fought for the tag team championships numerous times.
