Tionne Tenese Watkins was born on 26^th April 1970 to her parents James Watkins and Gayle Watkins in Des Moines, Iowa. Her family later moved to Atlanta Georgia where she grew up. As a kid, she was diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia, a condition she has lived with all her life. With reports popping up of how Mack 10 has been abusing her, she also filed for restraining order. With T-Boz living in Atlanta and Mack in California, she moved to Los Angeles California in, 2012, so that her daughter can be a bit closer to her father. With her going against having a second child of her own she adopted a baby boy on June 2016 who she named Chance.
