1. He debuted his acting career in 2009 when he was cast as Varun Mehra in Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hai.
2. He has kept the Karva Chauth’s fast for his wife in the past despite it being difficult for him to observe it due to his busy shooting schedule. Nevertheless, it has seemed unfair to him that only women go without food on the occasion hoping for the wellbeing of their husbands. So praying for her long life, Varun has fasted, wishing to support her and also to surprise her.
3. Regarding his on-screen character Dr. Veer Malhotra in Savitri Devi College & Hospital (2017–2018) he has revealed that he does not identify much with him as unlike Veer, he is a very straightforward person. However, Varun just like Veer used to play pranks when he was in school and college and that has been the only part where he has related to the character.
